For those who are not comfortable with CMD or PowerShell, it is possible to manage a server with core edition with graphical management tools, like Server Manager, which allows you to add, remove roles and features on any server and monitor the servers.
How to add a new server in Server Manager:
- Open Server Manager and click All Servers, then from the Manage menu select Add Servers.
2. Select one of the tabs (Active Directory, DNS, Import) to search for servers. Then search by name and click Find Now. The available servers will appear.
3. Select the server you want to add and click the right arrow. Then click OK to add the server.
You can now see the new server added in the All Servers.
