Windows Server 2016 – Hyper-V configure NIC team Part 1

With NIC teaming you can join multiple network adapters into a single entity. The reasons are performance and fault tolerance.

First, you need to create a NIC team. You need at least two NIC. Then open Server Manager and select Local Server. At the Properties panel click at the right side of NIC Teaming.

Then at the TEAMS click TASKS and select New Team.

Select a name for the team. Select the NIC so you can create the team. Click to Additional properties so you can change the Load balancing mode to Hyper-V port. Click OK

The NIC TEAM was created.
