Windows Server 2016 – Create SMB share

Start Windows Server Manager, click File and Storage Services and then click Shares.

From the Tasks menu, seøect New Share

Choose the Share profile, the most basic is SMB Share – Quick. Click the others to see more information. Click Next

Select the Server and then the Volume or specify the folder you want to share and click Next.

Write the name of the folder you want to share and click Next.

Select any of the options that you need and click Next.

Specify the permissions and then click Next.
