Windows Server 2016 – Create NFS share

Start Windows Server Manager, click File and Storage Services and then click Shares.

From the Tasks menu, seøect New Share

Choose the Share profile,  NFS Share – Quick. Click the other one if you want to see more information. Click Next

Select the Server and then the Volume or specify the folder you want to share and click Next.

Write the name of the folder you want to share and click Next.

Select the types of authentication method you want to use for share access and then Next.

On Share permissions click Add. A dialog box will appear. Specify the host to be granted access or All Machines. You can also choose share permissions and Allow root access. Click Add.

Modify if you need the Permissions and click Next.

If everything is correct then click Create. Then you will see your new shared folder.
