Windows Server 2016 – Create new volume to virtual disk

Open Server Manager, click File and Storage Services and then click Storage Pools. Right-click on a virtual disk and select New Volume. Click Next

Select Server and Disk, then click Next

Enter the Volume size and then click Next

Choose where you want to assign the new volume and Next

Change any file system setting, File System or Volume Label and then click Next

If everything is correct then click Create.

If you want to see the new volume click Disks and then select the disk. Then below you can see your new volume.
