First, open your web browser, and go to https://developer.android.com/studio. Click the Download Android Studio.
Open the archive file, right-click the directory android-studio and select Extract
Select the location and click Extract at the top right corner of the window.
Click Show the Files
Open the terminal and go to the location you have extracted Android Studio. The go to the bin directory
Start Android Studio.
Select if you want to import any settings. Click Next
Choose if you want to send anonymous data to Google. Then click Next. Choose Standard and then Next
Select if you want a dark or a light theme. Click Next
Review your settings and click Next. Then click Finish
Downloading… Then click Finish
Ready and running.
Create a launcher icon
With Android Studio open with a project, click Tools > Create Desktop Entry…
Now you can find the launcher at your apps.
- Thunderbird – send and receive an email with file(s)/attachment(s)
- Chrome and Firefox – Web Developer tools
- Install Visual Studio Code Ubuntu 18.04 and windows
