If you want high availability in Hyper-V then you have to configure the destination server as a Hyper-V Replica. How you to that: Open Hyper-V manager and in the Actions panel, click Hyper-V settings. Click Replication Configuration at the right. Select “Enable this computer as a Replica server” and select type of authentication you prefer. The select Allow replication from any server and click OK. Powershell install-windowsfeature -name storage-replica, fs-fileserver – includemanagementtools -restart I installed the fs-filserver because it is required to run the Test-SRTopology ServerManager Open Server Manager, click Manage > Add Roles and Features.  Then Next, specify the installation type and Next.
